Following this week's season 2 premiere of Insecure, the show's music supervisor Kier Lehman says some great artists will be debuting new music in upcoming episodes.
Lehman said in a new interview with Vulture the likes of Miguel, Bryson Tiller, Jorja Smith and Dreezy have all contributed new material to the HBO series, which has quickly become a critical and fan favorite.
"We have upcoming music from Dreezy this week and Kari Faux, who wrote a song specifically for us," Lehman said in the interview. "There’s new Jorja Smith in the first episode that’s not released. In episode three, we have a new song from TT the Artist that’ll probably be on our soundtrack. We’ll also have new music from Bryson Tiller, Jazmine Sullivan, and BOSCO. And we’ll be featuring new music from Miguel."
The first season of Insecure featured music from D'Angelo, GoldLink, Moses Sumney, Thundercat and more. The soundtrack was curated by Solange.
