The end of The Office earlier this year certainly didn't mark the end for Ed Helms. Keeping his plate full since the show's farewell, the actor has now signed on to produce a new comedy for ABC.

The untitled project, as The Hollywood Reporter points out, will unite Helms with writer Mike Arnold. It is a single-camera comedy focused on a “gifted but dysfunctional big-city female attorney who moves to a small town and is faced with the difficult task of adjusting.”

As of yet, production dates—much less a premiere—have not been scheduled, but ABC has provided a script commitment, ensuring the project will move forward.
