There has been no shortage of accolades for Eminem's chart-topping The Marshall Mathers LP 2, which returned to the top of the Billboard 200 this past week. But the album's far from done.

As Yahoo! Music points out, this will be the sixth year an album from the Detroit rapper ranks in the year-end's top 10. MMLP2, which went platinum in only its first two weeks, is already one of the fastest-selling albums of the year, despite having released on Nov. 5.

Only Garth Brooks and Mariah Carey have had as many year-end top 10 albums since Nielsen SoundScan began tracking music sales in 1991.

MMLP2 is already expected to pass Drake's Nothing Was the Same in total album sales for best-selling hip-hop album of 2013, a title previously held by JAY Z's July set, Magna Carta... Holy Grail.
