Florida rockers Anberlin announced on Thursday that they will release their "final record" this year.

In a mix of good and bad news for fans, the band confirmed plans to release the album and tour one last time, but that will mark the end of their time as a band. The group, which formed 12 years ago, explained that there are no hard feelings within the band.

Part of the band's statement, as expressed in the video below:

“In 2014 we’re going to release our final record and tour the world one more time. We don’t want to fade out. We want to end with hugs and celebrate the life that was Anberlin and not be bummed about us ending.”
