Jessica Biel will be taking it back to her television roots when she guest stars on the fourth season premiere of New Girl.

According to Variety, she'll play Kat—a character described as "the hottest scientist in the world" and a sort of nemesis to Zooey Deschanel's Jess, when the two find themselves going after the same guy at a wedding.

As many might remember, Biel's first major role was on 7th Heaven, where she remained for seven seasons before venturing into film.

New Girl returns for its fourth season Sept. 16 on Fox.
