Good news for fans of Gwen Stefani: she's working on a new solo record and one for No Doubt.

The newest coach on NBC's The Voice has been in the studio with fellow newbie coach Pharrell Williams. But when asked by MTV whether the new record would be hers alone or a new No Doubt LP, she replied, "Both."

Williams produced Stefani's hit 2005 single "Hollaback Girl." And regarding the singer's new material, he offered: "Gwen is somewhere else, man. The last time I said this about Miley [Cyrus], everybody was like, 'What? That's Hannah Montana!' I'm like, 'I'm trying to tell you!'"

The duo makes their Voice debut on Sept. 22 for the show's new season.
