As The Avett Brothers prepare to release their new live album, Live, Vol. Four, later this month, the band has revealed a number of tour dates starting in April.

The news comes as the group has also been working on their new studio record, which likely won't be far behind the Dec. 18 arrival of Live, Vol. Four.

Tickets for the new dates go on sale this Friday, although a limited pre-sale begins Wednesday (Dec. 2) at noon local time.
