Alt-R&B singer-songwriter James Scott has shared a tender new cut in the form of "Run," in which the Bronx-based vocalist delivers a celestial sound, with hushed instrumentation and gentle vocals that preview what's to come.

The brief track, which could easily serve as an album lead-in, began as a poem but "manifested itself into a song," according to Scott.

He's currently working on a new project titled Forest, for which he plans to release the first track very soon.
