Alicia Keys is keeping things positive in her latest track "28 Thousand Days," an exuberant cut that comes as the singer prepares to release another full-length album.

Keys shared another inspirational song, "We Gotta Pray," last December, following the death of Eric Garner.

This latest single is a reference to the average life expectancy in America, which has actually been on the rise. "There’s only 28,000 days," she sings. "Who would you love, where would you go, what would you celebrate / I’m tellin’ you that life’s too short to just throw it away / So have the time of your life."

She's previously described her forthcoming album, which had been once expected to arrive earlier this year, as "crazy good."
