Seattle singer-songwriter Noah Gundersen is streaming his sophomore album, Carry the Ghost, days before it officially releases this Friday.

The breathtaking record is largely inspired by the singer's own experiences breaking away from his protestant evangelical roots and Neil Young's Tonight's the Night.

“There’s this real ragged edge to that [album], like everything’s going to fall apart,” Gundersen said of his album in relation to Young's 1975 set. “I wouldn’t say my record is anywhere near as extreme as that, but we wanted to capture a sense of uncertainty – and have this sonic, raw edge to it.”

Carry the Ghost is officially out Friday on Dualtone Records, but it can be heard below (via The Wall Street Journal's Speakeasy).
