After spending weeks teasing his 1989 cover album, Ryan Adams on Thursday shared the first full track off his upcoming remake or "reinterpretation" of Taylor Swift's juggernaut LP.

Adams' cover of "Bad Blood" debuted today on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 radio show, with news that the full project will be released this Monday (Sept. 21).

Lowe said during his introduction of the track that Adams will join him Monday at noon EST for an interview, accompanied by "a very special guest," perhaps hinting that Swift herself may be chatting as well.

For her part, Swift tweeted Thursday that "Ryan's music helped shape my songwriting. This is surreal and dreamlike."

Listen to Adams' flawless cover of "Bad Blood" below and pre-order his full 1989 project Thursday starting at midnight EST.
