After weeks of teasing, Coldplay has made it official: Their seventh album, A Head Full of Dreams, will indeed arrive on Dec. 4, as previously suggested.

The Chris Martin-led outfit on Friday released their dazzling, disco-infused lead single "Adventure of a Lifetime," while confirming Beyoncé, Noel Gallagher, Tove Lo and Merry Clayton are among those featured on the upcoming set.

Recorded in Malibu, Los Angeles and London, the album is described as "bursting with energy, color and big, life-affirming moments." It also marks the most guest appearances in all of Coldplay's seven albums.

As we previously mentioned, Martin has hinted in the past this may be Coldplay's final record, explaining, "this is the completion of something."
