Just in time for the weekend, fellow New York acts and tour mates Great Good Fine Ok (aka Luke Moellman and Jon Sandler) and Peter Kirk's Panama Wedding have joined forces for an irresistible cover of Philip Bailey and Phil Collins' 1984 hit "Easy Lover."
“In a lot of ways its the perfect cover for us to do together, because Peter and Jon's voices work really well singing Phil and Philip’s parts,” said Moellman of the remake. “I wanted to keep the drive and intensity of the original but put it in a more modern sonic context. The production ended up sounding like a French electro-house-meets-Dr. Luke spin on the original.”
The group's rendition of the song comes ahead of their upcoming tour together, which starts later this month.
