Following last year's album The Loneliest Time, Carly Rae Jepsen has now released the bright, shiny followup, The Loveliest Time.

Dubbed a companion piece to her 2022 record, today's project continues an ongoing tradition of sorts for Jepsen, as this is the third such series of "B-sides" for her albums. She recently shared the song "Shy Boy" ahead of the album.

“I got to know loneliness and discover the beauty in it,” said Jepsen in a note to fans ahead of Friday's release. “The Loneliest Time taught me that growth comes from being planted in darkness. But now the world has opened itself back up again and in turn so have we.”
