There is a lot of great music coming out of Tulsa these days. Sure, we're biased, but facts are facts.

That brings us to Keyland, the rising act out of the 918, whose debut full-length Growin' Pains, arrived Friday. To borrow a line from the sibling duo Donny and Marie Osmond, the new record is definitely a little bit country, and a little bit rock 'n roll, as the Kyle Ross-led outfit shows admitted influence from the likes of fellow Okies like Turnpike Troubadours, Zach Bryan and John Moreland.

The band will follow the album's release with a show on April 27 at Tulsa's Cain's Ballroom with Ward Davis and B.C. and the Big Rig. It will be their first show at the iconic Oklahoma venue.

The new album features production from Sam Westhoff via Colony Recording Company and Kendal Osborne via The Closet Studios.
