Casey Moon has released his new Ashes EP, which completes the artist's ongoing trilogy of projects, including last year's Mirrors EP and Fountains EP.

The new, five-song release is something special and perhaps our favorite of the three. As we previously mentioned, the projects are reflective of Moon's experiences with growing up, identity, love and loss.

Ashes includes the previously released track "Halflight" as well as the new song "Distance," in addition to the standout "Lacuna."

"Writing music has always been a way for me to understand complex emotions," says Moon, who is half of the production duo Zookids. "I feel like this project has helped me make sense of a very tough time in my life, figuring out how I got there and what changes I needed to make. I hope it can do the same for someone else."
