New Jersey artist joe p has released his second EP, titled French Blonde, and it's one of our favorite new releases.

The standout seven-track project is out now via Neon Gold/Atlantic Records, and it showcases a wide scope of the singer's musical skillset, including the popular lead single "All Day I Dream About" and "Happy People," but on songs like "I'm On Fire" and title track "French Blonde" joe displays a wealth of vocals, the former of which is a cover of Bruce Springsteen's 1984 song "I'm On Fire."

To coincide with the new project, joe p is releasing a short horror film called If We Run, starring Michael Gandolfini (The Many Saints of Newark), Kevin Interdonato (The Sopranos) and joe p as himself. That visual is coming soon.

"This EP feels like I finally got everything off my chest and out of my head that was stuck in there for way too long," says joe p. "I honestly have never made something that I don’t care what people think of more than this collection of songs because it doesn’t even feel like I could have made anything else other than what you hear. I recorded all of the vocals alone in my basement and I think I will always do that because it bakes in a sense of reality where the water heater could turn on at any moment and ruin everything.”

Check out the EP and watch the short film on Monday.
