Today, we got a new offering from Montreal songwriter-producer Jesse Mac Cormack, who just shared his new single "NHFN."

The glitchy, hypnotic new cut is a wonderful preview of his upcoming album Solo, which is out April 8 via Secret City Records. Clocking in at just over four minutes, the mind-bending track starts out with a steady simmer and quickly builds to a massive climax.

“Losing freedom and privileges made me realize how great and important they were,” says Cormack. “Going through a hard time in a relationship and looking forward to happiness gave me purpose. It really helped me find what nourished me and made me stronger. Everything wasn't about passion anymore. I started thinking, taking good decisions for myself, and remembering what I wanted in the first place.”
