Avril Lavigne has released her new album Love Sux, which is out today via Elektra Records.

The perfectly wonderful new record finds the singer get back to her deliciously pop-punk roots, delivering ample nostalgia. And while she's assisted with a number of guest features from the likes of Machine Gun Kelly and Mark Hoppus, it's Lavigne who overwhelmingly does the heavy lifting and absolutely shines. She is thriving.

Of course, by now, you may have seen Lavigne is hitting the road later this year, including at a number of North American festivals, such as the widely buzzed about When We Were Young Festival in October. So the pop-punk revival continues, and it looks like this year is going to be a big one for Lavigne.
