'C'mon Baby, Cry' video

Country crooner Orville Peck has confirmed plans to release his new album in April.

The wonderfully titled Bronco is officially out on April 8 via Columbia Records, but it will be released in three separate installments, with the first chapter coming today. This first round includes four new songs “C’mon Baby, Cry,” “Daytona Sand,” “Outta Time” and “Any Turn."

"This is my most impassioned and authentic album to date,” says Peck. “I was inspired by country rock, '60s & '70s psychedelic, California and bluegrass with everything being anchored in country. Bronco is all about being unrestrained and the culmination of a year of touring, writing in isolation and going through and ultimately emerging from a challenging personal time.”

Coinciding with today's release is a video for “C’mon Baby, Cry," directed by Austin Peters, who also shot the video for Orville’s standout track “Queen of the Rodeo."
