Coming off his strong performance last weekend at Lyrical Lemonade's Summer Smash festival in Chicago, Joey Purp is back with new music.

On Friday, he released his throbbing new single "Candypaint," a preview of his upcoming self-released mixtape UpLate, which is coming on Sept. 24. And it's literally a teaser, because it's only a minute and 50 seconds long, but it's enough to draw you in and leave you anxious for what comes next.

As far as the upcoming tape, it will also feature a handful of guest contributions from the likes of Knox Fortune, Smoko Ono, Dex Lvl, Thelonious Martin and Stix.
