This week, we've got new music from Ai Bendr.

The 18-year-old Aussie-born artist on Friday shared her new song called "The Deep." It's quickly captivating, but a closer look reveals emotional lyrics about a struggle with addiction and pain, told from an empathetic perspective.

“This song is about drug addiction and how drowning and helpless it can feel,” says the Michigan-raised artist. “I do my best to embody someone who is feeling a helpless addiction, though I don’t have much experience there. ‘The Deep’ in the song is a metaphor for the low place that an addiction to drugs can bring you to.”
