This might not be an exaggeration: H.E.R. has likely solidified her status as a perennial Grammy winner.

Today, the singer, who is already halfway to the famed EGOT status (with multiple Grammy wins and now an Oscar win), has released her new album Back of My Mind, which is out now via MBK Entertainment/RCA Records. And not surprisingly, it may very well put her in contention for the fourth consecutive Grammy Awards, after winning at least one award in 2019 and 2021, while earning five nods in 2020, including Album of the Year.

The newly released 21-track album also includes a number of collaborations, including features from Ty Dolla $ign, Cordae, Lil Baby, Thundercat, Yung Bleu, DJ Khaled, Bryson Tiller, YG and Chris Brown.

“This collection of songs comes from feelings and thoughts that I’ve had in the back of mind,” says H.E.R. “That’s where I live sometimes. Some things I talk about in my music and other things I may have been afraid to say or admit. I’m finding freedom in being truthful with expression.”
