CHVRCHES have come bearing plenty of good news this week.

The Scottish trio on Wednesday shared their new song "How Not to Drown," a collaboration with one of their ultimate heroes, Robert Smith of The Cure. Along with the new song comes news of the band's fourth studio album, titled Screen Violence, which is out Aug. 27 via Glassnote Records.

As we previously mentioned, after touring in support of Love Is Dead through 2019, the band had intended to dive deep into crafting their next record. But they ended up self-isolating, with singer Lauren Mayberry and Martin Doherty in Los Angeles while bandmate Iain Cook was back home in Glasgow. Through video calls and swapping audio files, they began working on new music anyway.
