Mat Kearney has released his new album January Flower, and it's as if he somehow tapped into a new energy while also connecting with the prowess of his earlier years.

Out now via Tomorrow Music/Virgin, the new project is Kearney's followup to 2018's CRAZYTALK. And while Kearney has long established himself as an earnest songwriter, this new album finds him conveying undeniable excitement while also back in his sweet spot. It's an undercurrent Kearney himself acknowledges. 

“It was about digging down and finding the innocence that comes with wanting to make music solely for the love and passion of doing it,” he says of the new record. “I wanted to stay true to that voice.”
