With one more week before London Grammar releases their new album Californian Soil, the trio has appropriately shared their new song "America."

The gripping new cut comes just days before the full album arrives on April 16 via Ministry of Sound/Columbia Records. And while the lyrics of the song do provide a broad range of interpretations, singer Hannah Reid said the song is about letting go of the past.

"'America' is about my journey of letting go of the past, and learning how to write music again following a difficult time with my health," says Reid. "I use the idea of the American dream to wave goodbye to the things that I didn’t need anymore.”
