Jacob Banks is kicking off the weekend with a brand new EP.

The Nigerian-born, U.K.-based singer on Friday released his For My Friends EP, an eight-song project which he created during the pandemic, working remotely with his longtime collaborator Sillkey along with contributions from Yakob, Sam De Jong, Spencer Stewart and Jonah Christian.

The new EP captures glimpses of Banks' mindset over the past year, with songs of love and loss and protest, showcasing the singer's versatility as an artist while also allowing his vulnerability and humanity to shine through.
