Not even 48 hours after teasing a new song, Kid Cudi and Eminem's new collaboration "The Adventures of Moon Man and Slim Shady" has arrived.

It's their first collaboration, so of course it's a big deal. But now that the song is out, it's somewhat of a dud, with Em naturally grabbing the spotlight over multiple lines, nodding to a number of current events, declaring "fuck Drew Brees," a reference to the New Orleans Saints star's controversial statement about kneeling during the national anthem, comments he later walked back.

Em also tackles the ongoing health crisis, suggesting half of the population is walking around like zombies while the other half is angry and refusing to wear a mask. It's admittedly very topical and of-the-moment, but it also instantly comes across as very tired.

As for Cudi, he's been busy lately. Earlier this year, he shared his song "Leader of the Delinquents," followed by his Travis Scott collaboration "The Scotts." He has also been teasing an animated show for his Kanye West project Kids See Ghosts.
