Ted Wendler (aka Ted When) has shared a new song called "Eyes Closed," an irresistible listen and the second preview of his upcoming debut EP on Motown/Blacksmith Recordings.
The new track arrived Thursday with a visualizer created by Mishko, the perfect accompaniment for the lush offering, which Ted wrote with producer DJ Equal, a song recalling a previous relationship which ended with words left unsaid.
"'Eyes Closed' is about unrequited love," he says. "That feeling of regret in never telling a person how you really feel and thinking about how things could’ve been different."
For Wendler, who was previously the frontman of Los Angeles outfit Mansions on the Moon and has in the past toured with Mac Miller and Wiz Khalifa and worked with The Neptunes, this seems to be the start of a bright new chapter, so stay tuned for more.
