So this is how it's going to be.

Just hours after announcing his new album Swimming is coming next month (on Aug. 3), Mac Miller has released a new song called "Self Care," which arrived late Thursday night with an accompanying video.

The song was released around the same time as Miller's ex Ariana Grande released her own new single "God Is a Woman." (Her album Sweetener also arrives in August, on the 17th.)

The video for "Self Care," directed by Christian Weber, sees Miller buried alive in a wooden casket. As he attempts to make an escape, the symbolism seems rather clear, likely indicative of his recent personal struggles and his determination to dig his way out.
