CVHRCHES just dropped a weekend treat in the form of a Beyoncé cover.

In a newly released video, the Scottish outfit explained they've long wanted to cover "XO" but it hadn't quite worked out. The trio expressed a unanimous appreciation for Bey and the song, revealing they "lost [their] minds" when they first heard the original.

Of course, CHVRCHES is about to release their third album Love Is Dead, so the stars have aligned for their cover to make its way into the world, courtesy of a video sponsored by Honda and iHeartRadio.

The delicate, stripped down performance comes ahead of the band's new album, which arrives on May 25.
