After weeks of teasing, Gorillaz is back, releasing their new track "Hallelujah Money" on Thursday.

The Damon Albarn-led animated outfit has joined forces with English poet-musician Benjamin Clementine for the song, which seems to take aim at Donald Trump on the eve of the presidential inauguration.

Accompanied by a video featuring Clementine in a golden elevator, the song nods to "walls like unicorns in full glory and galore / Even stronger than the walls of Jericho."

Despite alluding to the toxicity that is the incoming President, "Money" isn't as bleak. Later in the track, Albarn is heard declaring: "When the morning comes / We are still humanz / How will we know / How will we dream / How will we love / How will we know."

It's unclear if the song is a standalone effort or if it is the first preview of the band's upcoming album, their first in six years and one of Variance's 50 Albums to Watch for in 2017.
