Rihanna performed Sunday night at the MTV Video Music Awards.

In addition to opening the show with a medley of hits, she will took the stage three more times later in the evening and also receive the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, which has most recently been awarded to the likes of Kanye West, Beyoncé and Justin Timberlake.

After performing earlier in the night, Rihanna took the stage a final time tonight to deliver her best moment yet, performing "Diamonds," "Stay" and "Love on the Brain," the latter of which was a true standout.

She was then joined on stage by Drake in a tux, offering a seemingly heartfelt and awkward speech about first meeting Rihanna in 2005 and declaring he's been in love with her since 2008.
