After releasing their kinda EP earlier this summer, Los Angeles trio Paul Klein, Les Priest and Jake Goss (aka LANY) has released a new set of visuals for the lead single "yea, babe, no way."
Co-directed by vocalist Klein alongside James Lees, the clip finds the band wandering through different parts of L.A. while reflecting on the loss and nostalgia of the song's lyrics.
Noting how the video was filmed using a high-definition camera, a 16 millimeter film camera and an iPhone, Klein said he feels "the magic of the video is found in the layering" of all three formats, saying "it feels really dreamy to me."
The video arrives as the Variance favorite is set to perform this weekend at Outside Lands in San Francisco, before heading out on their latest North American tour this fall.
