"Would You Like a Tour?" Well, if you're in Philadelphia, it appears you'll have to wait.
After a long week of tour drama, Drake's woes continued Saturday night, as the rapper was forced to scrap his show in Philadelphia.
Disappointed fans learned upon already filling the Wells Fargo Center that there would be no show, which had been scheduled to start at 7 p.m. Unfortunately, it wasn’t until 8:30 p.m. that attendees were actually informed of the cancellation.
Wells Fargo Center has confirmed that an official statement is due later Saturday night, but "staging issues" have reportedly been cited as at least part of the reason for the cancellation. (Towards the end of his show, he takes to the catwalk as he performs.)
At press time, Drake's Montreal date on Monday is still in tact.
Updated: Statement from Wells Fargo Center: “Due to the elaborate nature of tonight’s show and an unexpected technical issue, Drake’s ‘Would You Like A Tour’ concert at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia has been postponed until Wednesday, Dec. 18.”
All tickets from the Oct. 19 show will be honored on the new date.
