After laying low for the past couple of years, Adele took a moment on Sunday to not only mark her 26th birthday but hint at her forthcoming album.

"Bye bye 25," the singer tweeted ahead of her birthday (which is Monday). "See you again later in the year x."

Adele's first two albums were both reflections of her life at a specific age, her debut 19 and her sophomore album 21. Her third studio album has long been rumored as a possible release in 2014, and it's certainly no secret she's been in the studio while enjoying her new life as a mother.

In January, Phil Collins suggested he had been working with Adele on new material. She's also been in the studio with Paul Epworth and OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder.
