The Black Keys' Patrick Carney is beginning the new year with a dislocated shoulder following an accident over the weekend in St. Barts.

According to TMZ, the drummer was hit by a large wave while in the ocean. He is said to be recovering after being taken to the emergency room.

Carney seems to be in good spirits, having posted the photo above on Instagram with the caption: "Tune into my new lifetime movie. 'Dislocated shoulder' airing right now."

Fortunately for the Black Keys, the duo is on hiatus from their tour, with their next performance scheduled for Feb. 6 in Los Angeles.
