As the much-hyped Barbie is finally approaching its release date, we've got another preview of the soundtrack today in the form of Billie Eilish's "What Was I Made For?."

The hauntingly beautiful track, which is likely an instant contender for the 2024 Oscars, arrived Thursday along with a video directed by Eilish herself. As with most of her past music, she co-wrote the song with her brother FINNEAS, who also produced the song out of his home studio in Los Angeles.

Eilish said of the making of the video: “To be real with you, this all seemed to happen in a time when I really needed it. I’m so so thankful for that.”

The song is out now, but the full soundtrack, like the movie, directed by Greta Gerwig and starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, will be released July 21 on Warner Bros. Pictures.
