Brynn Cartelli on Friday released her newest single, a beautiful track called "Convertible in the Rain."
The stirring new track is the latest from the 19-year-old singer, who accompanies the track with a glowing, self-directed video shot on the beaches of Rhode Island. There's no denying, the song is a celebration of young, wonderful love, when it's new and fresh and exciting.
"‘Convertible in the Rain’ was written in retrospect, as many of my story-songs are," says Cartelli. "I had a clear mind about this night, about how much it meant to me, and how exhilarating it is to be young and in love. Playing this song on tour brings me back to my childhood in New England… and the production is heavily inspired by the songs I grew up listening to there. Once again, I am nervously exhilarated to be opening up my diary for everyone to hear."
Cartelli, who previously won NBC's The Voice at 15, is currently on tour with Elektra labelmate and fellow rising artist Jake Scott.
