It looks like for today, everyone wins!

Halsey just released a lush, new track called "So Good," which comes ahead of the singer's headlining slot this weekend at Governors Ball Festival in New York City on Saturday (June 11).

This is the song Halsey previously accused label Capitol Records of withholding unless the singer "can fake a viral moment on TikTok." Of course, drama quickly followed. The label rushed out saying they supported Halsey and subsequently promised a June 9 release date.

Assuming the TikTok threat was genuine (which isn't surprising, as numerous label-artist conflicts have ensued recently over a need for TikTok buzz), it seems Halsey gets to release this beautiful new song, the label gets their social media craving fulfilled, Governors Ball gets media attention ahead of the big fest, and all the fans get new music, in addition to an accompanying video directed by Halsey's partner, Alev Aydin, which will arrive Friday (June 10).

Check out the song below.
