Producer-singer Hamond has our full attention with his new single "Angels."

The Houston artist shared the celestial new offering on Wednesday alongside a video he directed himself, fusing a collage of memories and flickering imagery meant to recreate a utopian rendition of Houston, the version he remembers seeing as a child.

This is the first preview of Hamond's upcoming debut full-length, which follows his 2020 debut EP Source Material. He says of the new song: "It’s about being watched over and protected by people around you, even when things are not perfect. They are the angels."
