Noah McBeth (aka NoMBe) is back with new music.
The German born, Los Angeles-based artist has shared a new song called "Paint California," which arrived Wednesday with a trippy accompanying video, serving as the first preview of his upcoming sophomore album CHROMATOPIA. He co-wrote the track alongside writer Kam Alexander (A$AP Rocky, Illenium) and producer Kyle Moorman (Pink, Betty Who).
"With the new album I wanted to switch things up and tap into a more upbeat sound," says NoMBe. "'Paint California' was one of the first songs that felt incredibly special and I’m so happy it’s finally coming out. Lyrically, it’s an exaggerated way of saying I’d give it all to you... it’s about offering someone the world."
Perhaps coincidentally but indeed appropriately, the track has an undercurrent which faintly recalls West Coaster Katy Perry's 2010 hit "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)."
