Swedish duo Slide will kick off the new month with a brand new single called "Keep Shining."

But the genre-defying pair are premiering the new song today on Variance, a day ahead of the official release. The triumphant, hip-hop infused cut is a preview of the duo's upcoming Things I Tell Myself EP, which is out on July 31.

"We felt like young people nowadays, including us, spend a lot of time worrying about the future and growing up and making money and stuff like that," they said of the new track. "And we don't really have the answers either, so we’re pretty much just singing to ourselves saying, 'Keep going, it’ll all make sense at some point.'"

The new song follows Slide's recent standouts "Hello Spirit" and "Waiting," and it continues their momentum as they test the boundaries of musical genres, taking inspiration from earlier Kid Cudi as well as recent offerings from the likes of BROCKHAMPTON and Dominic Fike.
