It appears Cardi B may have already cut a song with Beyoncé.
Cardi's engineer Michael Ashby on Sunday shared a curious image to his Instagram story. It teased what appears to be a demo of a song by Cardi B featuring Bey, with the caption, "Wow this feature is big."
The photo comes as Cardi B, whose massive hit "Bodak Yellow" topped the U.S. charts for three weeks, had been expected to release her debut album last month. But in a recent Billboard interview, she noted it had been delayed but promised new music would soon be on the way.
Cardi B met Beyoncé backstage last month at Made in America Festival, which is curated by Jay-Z, who headlined this year's event. After the Cardi B and Beyoncé meeting, fans had speculated about a possible collaboration.
After the impromptu meeting, Cardi B didn't hold back her excitement. "I’m surprised Beyoncé liked me," she told the AP. "Ah! I met Beyoncé!"
