We've known for some time Jhené Aiko is working on new music, but now she's confirmed she has a new album on the way.
In a new interview for the upcoming issue of Playboy, she revealed the new project, titled Trip 17, which she has reportedly been working on in Hawaii. She has yet to share a release date.
“It’s inspired by every type of trip you could imagine: mental, physical, even psychedelic,” the singer explained of the upcoming record. “I’m at a point where I put it all in the music. It’s a puzzle I want people to put together.”
Back in June, Aiko shared her new song "While We're Young," which has become an instant summer favorite. She also released a Chris Brown collaboration called "Hello Ego."
Her last solo album was 2014's Souled Out.
