Kendrick Lamar will perform at the MTV Video Music Awards later this month, the network confirmed on Friday.
The news is not much of a surprise, because as we previously reported, Lamar leads this year's nominations with eight, including one for Video of the Year, for his DAMN. lead single "HUMBLE."
Other previously announced performers include Lorde, the Weeknd, Miley Cyrus and Katy Perry, who is also hosting the ceremony.
The VMAs are set for Aug. 27, airing on MTV.
