Beyoncé Reportedly Interested in Buying Stake in Houston Rockets

She already owns music and she's dominated the Super Bowl twice, so it makes sense that Beyoncé may be interested in buying a stake in her NBA home team, the Houston Rockets.

Bloomberg reported Tuesday the singer, who is from Houston, has shown interest in making an investment in the team. Her husband Jay-Z previously sold his small stake in the Brooklyn Nets to start Roc Nation, which now represents athletes.

The news comes as Rockets owner Les Alexander said last month he was putting the team up for sale, with some reports suggesting the price tag could top $2 billion

Should Bey decide to buy in, she would join the likes of Justin Timberlake, who has a stake in the Memphis Grizzlies, as well as Venus and Serena Williams and Jennifer Lopez, all of whom have invested in the Miami Dolphins.

As of this writing, a rep for Beyoncé hadn't responded to a request for comment.
