Coldplay's Chris Martin said Monday the band is "working on some new songs" with plans to release a Kaleidoscope EP next year.
The singer shared the news today on Twitter, effectively confirming last year's A Head Full of Dreams album will not be the last music from the band.
As we previously reported, Martin said in 2014 he believed that album would be the "final" one, comparing it to "the last Harry Potter book."
While Coldplay has not announced a release date for the new EP, the band last month added a new run of North American tour dates. The trek begins in August in New York City.
