With a new album approaching, The Flaming Lips are planning to debut some new music at yoga classes for the hometown crowd in Oklahoma City.
Wayne Coyne said Wednesday on Instagram the local exercise studio Yoga Box will be playing "brand new, never heard before" music from the band during classes on Fridays throughout the month of October, beginning this week (Oct. 7).
In August, the Lips were reportedly in the final stages of a new record, said to have a working title of Oczy Mlody, which they had been working on since 2014. They have not yet confirmed the title or a release date.
Their last original album was 2013's The Terror, although their Beatles covers project With A Little Help from My Fwends arrived in 2014 and they collaborated with Miley Cyrus on her 2015 LP Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz.
