As Kendrick Lamar intensifies his efforts to conquer mainstream music, it appears he's teamed up with pop staple Maroon 5 for their new single "I Don't Want to Know."

Friday Morning Quarterback is reporting the track will impact pop radio on Oct. 18, perhaps as the lead single off the Adam Levine-fronted outfit's upcoming album. 

Earlier this month, Lamar was featured on Sia's latest radio-friendly single "The Greatest," which was already No. 24 on the Billboard Hot 100 last week.

A rep for Lamar did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
